We have upgraded our online payment portal and you may notice changes in the look of our web page while entering payment information. We now accept American Express cards and, if customers provide their e-mail addresses, we also can inform them about different stages of payment processing.
Starting Wednesday, May 23, 2018, and on every Wednesday thereafter, the Transfer and Recordation Tax Office will only process documents that were previously mailed-in or dropped-off. On those days, the Office will not accept walk-in or drop-off documents. Regular Office hours of 8:30 am to 3:30 pm will remain in effect for the remaining days of the week. This change will allow us to process the large number of mailed-in and dropped-offs documents within our commitment to complete them in a timely manner. Please schedule your documents accordingly. You will be required to pay online for the LIEN Certificate after completing the
online application. If you have not been assigned a UserID from the City Of Baltimore
Collection Division, use your email address for UserID.
